Daniela Văcăreţu was born in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. She studied her Bachelor of Laws at the Christian University “Dimitrie Cantemir” Cluj-Napoca and also her Master’s degree in Business Law. She recently graduated as a Master of Laws, with focus on International Law and Human Rights from Copenhagen University, Denmark.

 

Daniela is currently living in Copenhagen. Here she works both in a law office with specialization in immigration law and as part-time at an NGO, where she gives social and legal advice to homeless migrants. In addition, she has attended various summer schools, conferences and workshops focussing on human rights topics. Thus far, Daniela has had two of her papers published. She is fluent in English, Italian and Danish, and of course her mother tongue is Romanian.
