Floris Janssens-Andrejew was born in the Netherlands and holds a BA in Literary Studies from the University of Utrecht and an MA in Book and Digital Media Studies from Leiden University (both in the Netherlands).

 

Having previously worked and lived in Jordan, Tanzania and Denmark, Floris currently works in the library of the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) in The Hague, the Netherlands.

 

In addition, Floris has a background in publishing, research and journalism. He has full professional proficiency in both Dutch and English, working knowledge of German and somewhat less of French.

 

Floris' interests entail geopolitics, libraries, media theory, literature and science. He contributes to IWB by reviewing article contributions, giving general input on the activities of IWB and by pitching in where ever he can.
