Stefan van Laer has a Master in Law, had an exchange experience in France where he studied European and International Law and has an advanced Master in International Relations and Diplomacy.

 

Stefan has previously done internships for a law firm in Antwerp and the Permanent Mission of Belgium to the United Nations in New York. He is currently looking for new challenges in a European or international setting.

 

Stefan has had a passion for European policy and is trying to build a career in the field. Notwithstanding his love for the European Union, he admits that some of its policies show shortcomings. Migration is one of them. That’s why he strongly believes in the IWB-project because he feels that this is the way to meet these shortcomings.
